Dr. Solomiya Grushchak is a Ukrainian born, Chicago-native who received her undergraduate degree from the Honors Program at Loyola University Chicago. She was granted early acceptance to medical school through the Early Assurance Program and obtained her Doctor of Medicine (M.D) at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
She completed her intern year at Scripps Hospital in San Diego and dermatology residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, where she served as Chief Resident. To better serve the needs of her patients, Dr. Grushchak continued her training at the University of California – Irvine, specializing in cutaneous oncology, Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstruction, aesthetic medicine, and laser surgery.
Dr. Grushchak’s clinical interests include skin cancer surveillance, Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction, and surgical treatment of scars. She also specializes in cosmetic treatments like laser resurfacing, neuromodulators, injectable fillers and so much more! Her priority is fostering a warm and open environment for her patients.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, surfing, skiing, attending live music concerts, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Grushchak is fluent in Ukrainian, elementary in Polish and Russian, and is currently learning Spanish
