Injectable Fillers

Schedule an Appointment

Injectable dermal fillers are a popular cosmetic treatment that can restore lost volume, smooth lines, soften creases, or enhance natural facial contours.

What are injectable fillers?

Injectable fillers can be a safe treatment option when in the hands of a Board-Certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon who have an extensive knowledge of facial anatomy, a well-developed aesthetic eye, and a cosmetic surgeon’s skill and precision. These products can be used to improve smile lines, lines around the mouth, marionette lines, enhance the lips, and even enhance the nose. A few simple injections can immediately improve unwanted facial creases. Fillers can also help erase under eye circles or hollows, giving you a fresher more youthful appearance.

Types of fillers available at CCSD

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in your skin. It helps keep skin plump and hydrated. HA injectable fillers are typically soft and gel-like, which include lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment.

We carry the full lines of the Restylane Family of Fillers: Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, Restylane Kysse, Restylane Contour

the Juvéderm Collection of Fillers: Juvéderm Voluma, Juvéderm Vollure, Juvéderm Volbella, and Juvederm Volux, the

RHA Collection of Fillers: RHA 2, RHA 3, RHA 4, and RHA Redensity as well as

Belotero Balance, for precise flexibility for your individual needs.

Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA)

The Radiesse CaHA gel matrix provides immediate improvement to the jawline, hands and cheeks. After treatment, the CaHA particles integrate into your skin and create a “scaffold” that stimulates your own production of new collagen and elastin over a 12 month period.

Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA)

As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. Injectable poly-l-lactic acid, also known as Sculptra Aesthetic, is used to create structure, framework, and natural volume to the face. It is often used to soften volume loss in the cheeks and lateral cheeks, as well as the temples.  Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory injectable filler, which means it stimulates your own collagen production for thicker skin, and results that can last 2 years.

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)

Bellafill Cosmetic contains tiny, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres that are suspended within a base of smooth collagen gel. Once injected, it immediately reduces the look of smile lines and acne scars. Over time, your body uses the microspheres in Bellafill to create a “scaffold” onto which your own natural collagen can develop with results lasting up to five years.

Frequently Asked Question

Is getting injectable fillers painful?

You may experience a very brief and minimal pain. We will provide ice packs afterward to help soothe discomfort.

Most fillers do not cause downtime. You may experience minimal redness and/or swelling at the injection site that resolves within hours to days. You may return to work the same day. To reduce any bruising, you can apply Alastin INhance Post-Injection Serum following an injectable treatment.

Filler results are immediate and typically last from 6 – 12 months; except for Sculptra Aesthetic, which shows gradual improvement over a few months and lasts up to 2 years.

The cost varies on the amount and type of filler used to achieve the desired results. Your CCSD Provider will discuss this with you at your consultation and provide a detailed price quote.
